Cosmetology
1,600 Hours (40 weeks or 9 months)

Course Covers:

All aspects of hair-cutting, hair-styling, and hair-coloring
All aspects of nail care
All aspects of skin care
Make-up
Preparation for the State Board Licensing Exam

A licensed California Cosmetologist may provide any of the following services on the hair, skin, and nails: shampoo, cut, relax, perm, color, and style hair. They may also provide various skin-care procedures along with manicures, pedicures, and apply nail enhancements such as acrylics and gels.
