About Us
Victoria's Academy of Cosmetology trains students in the fields of Cosmetology, Barbering, Manicuring, Massage and Esthetics as well as instructor training in one of these fields. In 2009, we moved into a new building that houses three large learning classrooms equipped with 72-inch televisions, a massage and esthetics room that has 15 enclosed beds accompanied by the latest esthetic equipment available, a main cosmetology lab with 62 new cosmetology stations, and a barber shop with seven available stations.

Programs

Barbering
The Barbering program totals 100 hours, and the course curriculum for this program includes Principles of Hair Design and Styling, Artificial Hair, Hair Cutting, Cutting and Trimming of Facial Hair, Infection Control, Shampooing, Safety, Sanitation, Disinfection, and more.

Cosmetology
Through our Cosmetology program, you will study Principles of Hair Design and Styling, Client Services, Shampooing, Hair Cutting, Scalp and Hair Analysis, First Aid and Disinfection, 100 hours of Manicuring and Pedicuring, 100 Hours of Esthetics, and more.

Esthetics + Program
As a graduate of our Esthetics + program, you can be professionally trained in a variety of esthetic areas, including Cellulite and Body Wrap Treatments, Professional Skin Treatments, Hair Removal, Skin Science and Theory, Masks and Packs, Chemical Compounds, Extractions, Exfoliation, Makeup Application, and more.

Instructor Training Program
This 600-hour Instructor Training program focuses on Lesson Planning, Teaching Techniques and Principles, Evaluation Methods, Sanitation, First Aid, Disinfection, Preparation for Classroom Activities and Information, School Operations, Clinical Supervision, RCWs, WACs, Safety, and more.

Manicuring Program
Through this program, you can learn basic as well as advanced techniques in manicuring. Course curriculum in our Manicuring program focuses on Shaping and Polishing, Nail and Skin Disorders and Diseases, Artificial Nail Technology, Infection Control, Safety, Sanitation, and more.

Massage Training
Our Massage Training program will cover Insurance Billing, Professional Ethics, Communications Awareness, Business Management, Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Kinesiology, CPR, Hygiene, Reflexology, Hydrotherapy, Aromatherapy, Sports Massage, Shiatsu, and more of today's best practices in massage therapy.
