Course Overview
At Paul Mitchell The School Jessup, we prepare our graduates to not only pass the state licensing examination, but to build personal confidence and become successful right from the start. Cosmetology Program Overview
The Cosmetology Program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, and the art of hairdressing. The Cosmetology Program features a three-phase program we call CORE, ADAPTIVE, and CREATIVE. Our cosmetology program features design, cutting, coloring, multicultural techniques, makeup, fashion trends, manicuring, pedicuring, basic facials, and the art of hairdressing in a three-phase program we call Core, Adaptive, and Creative.

CORE - Learn the rules! In this introductory course, you'll learn the basics that will let you confidently begin working on guests, and your Learning Leaders will help you blend professional skills with personal development.

ADAPTIVE - Building on the first phase this intermediate level teaches the value of time management, professional service and retailing skills, and the art of successful communication. Apply the rules!

CREATIVE - Expand the rules! takes you through advanced hairdressing and chemical work.

Enrollment requirements
To enroll in the Cosmetology Program you must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. We welcome all future professionals who are motivated and have a desire to learn.
