Beauty Anatomy Institute of Cosmetology and Wellness is an accredited private school specializing in vocational training for career preparation in the cosmetology arts and sciences. We offer programs in barbering, cosmetology, facials, instructor training, massage therapy, and nails.

Beauty Anatomy Institute of Cosmetology and Wellness aims to provide students with diversified programs that integrate theory and hands-on practice to allow them to become licensed professionals and earn gainful employment.

Beauty Anatomy Institute (BAI) arms you with the technical skills, in-depth knowledge, and first-hand experience to begin a rewarding career in the beauty industry.

Cosmetology:

Beauty Anatomy Institute (BAI) offers you the unique opportunity to learn online and in-person through our accredited, hybrid Cosmetology program. The Cosmetology program is offered in both English and Spanish.

Learn the theory portion at home (online), then put your learning to the test when you practice your new skills in our student salon and spa. You’ll also receive special training from renowned guest artists who’ll give you exclusive demonstrations and lectures. Later, you’ll enjoy some healthy competition during our fun challenges and in-house competitions.

We believe in a diverse learning style, meaning we offer students the chance to learn to work on a variety of hair textures and styles. All of these elements combined make our curriculum cutting edge.

Transfer credits are accepted on a case-by-case basis.

Barbering:

Beauty Anatomy Institute’s Barber-Styling program was created to arm you with technical skills, barbering knowledge, and first-hand experience, so you can enter the barber industry with confidence and competence.

Our Barber-Styling program is taught by a lead instructor who works for a local barbershop; Pro’s Barbering. When you enroll in this program, you not only get a standard barbering kit, you also get additional tools like a jacket, neck dusters, and barbering pencils that are used in trendy barber shops around the world.

We’re currently working toward an online and in-person accredited Barber-Styling program. You’ll be able to learn theory at home (online) and then practice what you learned on actual clients in our student salon. We’re proud to be the first school in Florida to offer a hybrid online learning program for Cosmetology students and we’re excited to add Barber-Styling to the list!

Nail Technician

Beauty Anatomy Institute offers a Nail Specialty program. Get training for the top-requested nail services, using OPI nail products. Included as part of your tuition, you’ll receive a uniform and the books needed to complete your courses.

After you learn the theory component, let your creativity flourish as you practice your new-found skills with hands-on training in the student salon and spa. When you finish the program you’ll be a skilled, work-ready graduate!

The Nail Specialty program prepares you for licensure. Once completed, you’ll be prepared to pass a school exam to receive a Florida specialty registration (license). Our Nail Specialty program is offered in both full-time and part-time schedules, so you can choose which one work for you.

Esthetics - Facial Specialty

Other schools might require you to learn the theory section of your education in the classroom. At BAI, we understand that our students want flexibility in integrating education into their busy schedules. That’s why our program is offered online and in class. The Full Speciality program is also offered in Spanish and English.

After learning theory in our classrooms, through field trips, guest speakers, and activities, our student teachers move on to assisting the BAI instructors in their lessons. Beauty Changes Lives Scholarship
Beauty Changes Lives, the American Association of Cosmetology Schools and their partners are offering the chance to win a scholarship towards education to begin an exciting career in the beauty and wellness industry. Prospective students with a start date at a qualified cosmetology school can enter and 10 winners will receive a scholarship to pay for 50% of their tuition at a qualified school.

OPI & AACS ACE Scholarship Program
As part of OPI’s ongoing scholarship program, 9 students annually who are attending AACS member schools will each be awarded a $500.00 scholarship from OPI. Students must be enrolled, or in the process of enrolling, in a cosmetology related program at an AACS member school to qualify. Winners will be selected based on an essay and one industry recommendation.

Sport Clips & American Crew ACE Scholarship Program
Through the ACE (Access to Cosmetology Education) Scholarship Program, up to 20 Cosmetology Students who are enrolled at an AACS member school, will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship provided by Sport Clips/American Crew.

The MyCAA Scholarship

Beauty Anatomy Institute of Cosmetology & Wellness salutes military families through our partnership with the Department of Defense Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program which provides up to $4,000 of Financial Assistance for military spouses who are pursuing degree programs, licenses or credentials leading to employment in portable career fields.

Veterans Training

Qualifying GI Bills

Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 30) – any Active Duty members enroll and pay $100 per month for 12 months; and are then entitled to receive a monthly education benefit once they have completed a minimum service obligation.

Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 1606) – a reservist must be actively drilling and have a 6-year obligation in the Selected Reserve to be eligible. The Montgomery GI Bill® (Chapter 1606)

Post 9/11 (Chapter 33) – provides financial support for education and housing to individuals with at least 90 days of aggregate service after September 10, 2001, or individuals discharged with a service-connected disability after 30 days. You must have received an honorable discharge to be eligible for the Post-9/11 GI Bill®.

Reserve Educational Assistance ((REAP) Chapter 1607) – Dependents Educational Assistance Program is designed to provide educational assistance to members of the Reserve components called or ordered to active duty in response to a war or national emergency (contingency operation) as declared by the President or Congress. This program makes certain reservists who were activated for at least 90 days after September 11, 2001 either eligible for education benefits or eligible for increased benefits.

Survivors & Dependents Assistance (DEA Chapter 35) – provides education and training opportunities to eligible dependents of certain veterans. The program offers up to 45 months of education benefits. These benefits may be used for degree and certificate programs, apprenticeship, and on-the-job training.

GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by VA is available at the official U.S. government Web site at http://www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.

Students may enroll in all classes with a high school diploma or GED or by passing a Wonderlic Basic Skills Test. The approved passing scores are Verbal 200 and Quantitative 210. Barber, Cosmetology, Nail Specialty, and Facial Specialty students may be 16 years of age (with parental consent). Massage and Instructor students must be at least 18 years of age. The school cannot guarantee a license or the ability to take a test if the student has a criminal background.

The school hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m and Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
